Daniel Reason Killed in Bicycle/Truck Accident on Cedar Avenue in Calwa, CA

Calwa, CA — August 21, 2023, Daniel Reason was killed in a bicycle/truck collision on Cedar Avenue near Jensen Avenue in Calwa, CA.

Authorities indicate that on August 21, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a bicyclist and a commercial truck collided on Cedar Avenue in Calwa. According to reports, the bicyclist was riding along Cedar Avenue when he turned off the sidewalk. Police say the bicyclist was struck as he entered the path of the truck's back tires.

Officials confirmed the bicyclist, 35-year-old Daniel Reason, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
