One Killed, Two Injured in Semi-Truck Accident near Pinon Hills, CA

Pinon Hills, CA — August 14, 2023, one was killed and another injured in a semi-truck crash on Pearblossom Highway, Los Angeles County, near Pinon Hills, CA.

Authorities say that on August 14, a fatal collision occurred between a pickup truck and a semi-truck in Los Angeles County. According to reports, the crash happened sometime before 10:45 in the morning on Pearblossom Highway.

Investigators say a truck headed west collided with a semi-truck traveling east. Sources say the impact caused the vehicles to burst into flames at the scene.

Officials confirmed the pickup driver, whose name has not been released, did not survive the crash. Two semi-truck occupants reportedly suffered injuries and were flown to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities have not determined the cause of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
