Two Killed in Motorcycle/Car Accident in Smith County, TX

Smith County, TX — August 5, 2023, two people were killed in a motorcycle/car collision at FM 346 and County Road 188 in Smith County, TX.

Authorities say that on August 5, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a motorcycle and an Audi collided in Smith County. Sources say the crash happened at the FM 346 and County Road 188 intersection.

As investigators determine the events that led to the crash, few details have been released. Officials confirmed the motorcyclist and a passenger, whose names have not been released, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.
