Mildred M. Scott Killed, One Injured in Truck Accident on Highway 65 in Kansas City, MO

Kansas City, MO — August 10, 2023, Mildred M. Scott was killed, and one was injured in a truck collision on Highway 65, south of County Road 350 in Kansas City, MO.

Authorities indicate that on August 10, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, three vehicles collided on Highway 65. According to reports, a northbound Chevrolet crashed into a southbound commercial truck. Sources say the initial crash caused the Chevrolet to then hit another truck. The accident happened shortly before 11:45 in the morning.

Officials confirmed the Chevrolet driver, 90-year-old Mildred M. Scott, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. A passenger in the Chevrolet, Willie Armstrong, sustained severe injuries and was flown to an area hospital for medical attention. No other injuries were reported.
