Joseph Cleddy-Craig Baize Killed in Accident on Route 84 in Gatesville, TX

Gatesville, TX — August 4, 2023, Joseph Cleddy-Craig Baize was killed in a vehicle accident on Route 84 in Gatesville, TX.

Authorities indicate that on August 4, a fatal accident occurred when a pedestrian was struck on Route 84 in Gatesville. According to reports, the pedestrian was heading east in the center of the road when a GMC struck him.

Officials confirmed the pedestrian, 38-year-old Joseph Cleddy-Craig Baize, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. The GMC driver, a 74-year-old male whose name has not been released, wasn't hurt in the crash. No other vehicles were involved.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the events that led to the accident.
