Haider Ali Mamin Killed, One Injured in Car Accident on FM 485 in Milam County, TX

Milam County, TX — August 2, 2023, Haider Ali Mamin was killed, and another was injured in a car accident on FM 485 near County Road 260 in Milam County, TX.

Authorities indicate that on August 2, a fatal accident occurred when a van and another vehicle collided on FM 485 in Milam County. According to reports, the van was heading east when it collided with an oncoming vehicle driving west in the wrong lane.

Officials confirmed that the van driver, 61-year-old Haider Ali Mamin, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The other vehicle driver, whose name has not been released, reportedly sustained severe injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
