Patrick Dewayne Taylor Killed in Car Accident in Houston, TX

UPDATE (September 28, 2023): Details released by officials identified the man killed in the accident as 55-year-old Patrick Dewayne Taylor. No further information has been released at this time.

Houston, TX — August 19, 2023, a man sustained fatal injuries due to a car accident that happened at 8:00 p.m. on Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Preliminary information about the fatal accident says that it happened along the 9400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard just off Lakefield Drive, north of Airport Boulevard.

According to officials, the incident involved a 55-year-old man walking in the area. That man has not yet been publicly identified. While the man was walking, a collision somehow occurred where a Chevy Impala struck the man. That vehicle then apparently became disabled, and the driver allegedly left it at the scene.

The man hit by the vehicle died as a result of the accident. Authorities have yet to identify the suspected runaway driver, and their investigations are ongoing.
