Man Injured in Alleged Intoxicated Driving Acciedent on I-35 outside San Antonio, TX

Bexar County, TX — August 19, 2023, at least one person was injured following an alleged intoxicated driving accident at 8:30 p.m. along Interstate 35.

According to information about the accident released by authorities say it happened northeast of the I-35 and Loop 1604 intersection in the Schertz area.

Investigators said that the incident involved a black Ford F-150 pickup truck that was going northbound on the interstate. Due to events not entirely clear, the pickup and at least two other vehicles collided. The Ford driver then allegedly fled the scene, but it appears authorities apprehended them.

Details suggest a 74-year-old man had non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. No other injuries were confirmed. Authorities allege that the Ford driver was intoxicated at the time and would face charges. No further information can be confirmed right now.
