Man Killed, Woman Injured in Alleged Hit-and-run Accident on South Main in Houston, TX

Details suggest that a Ford pickup was going along South Main when it appears the pickup crashed into a Toyota Highlander at a red light. Following this collision, authorities allege that the pickup fled the scene of that accident, then somehow lost control at Loop 610 and South Main. This led to the pickup going off-road where it hit a man, then crashed into a pillar and a tree.

As a result of the accident, the man hit by the pickup sustained fatal injuries. A woman in the vehicle hit at the traffic light was said to have injuries. The driver of the Ford pickup allegedly fled the scene. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
