George Joseph White Jr. Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident in Kings Mountain, NC

Kings Mountain, NC — August 19, 2023, George Joseph White Jr. was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on southbound Interstate 85 near Exit 8 in Kings Mountain, NC.

Authorities say that on August 19, a fatal crash occurred when a vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided in Kings Mountain. Investigators say the vehicle was traveling in the opposite direction in the southbound lane of Interstate 85 when it crashed into the truck.

Officials confirmed the vehicle driver, 53-year-old George Joseph White Jr., suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
