Barbara Logan Killed in Truck Hit-and-run Accident in Baltimore, MD

Baltimore, MD — August 14, 2023, Barbara Logan was fatally injured due to an apparent hit-and-run truck accident at 5:20 p.m. along Liberty Heights.

According to officials with the Baltimore Police Department, the incident took place off the corner of the Liberty Heights Avenue and Callaway Avenue intersection.

Investigators said that 88-year-old Barbara Logan was in a vehicle traveling along the roadway at the time. While crossing Callaway, reportedly with a green light, it appears a white flatbed Ford pickup truck went through the light and hit Logan's vehicle. That truck then allegedly fled the scene.

Logan sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. There were no other reported injuries. Authorities have yet to identify the alleged runaway driver. Investigations are ongoing.
