Chicago, IL — August 19, 2023, a bicyclist was killed in a tractor-trailer collision on Interstate 94 near Dempster Avenue in Chicago, IL.

Authorities indicate that on August 19, a fatal accident occurred when a tractor-trailer struck a bicyclist on Interstate 94 in Chicago. According to reports, the tractor-trailer was heading north along Interstate 94 when the bicyclist suddenly entered the center lane from the shoulder. Sources say the truck hit the bicyclist sometime before 9:00 at night near Dempster Avenue.

Officials confirmed the bicyclist, who has not been identified, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
