Owatonna, MN — August 20, 2023, one or more people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 35 in Steele County, near Owatonna, MN.

Authorities say that on August 20, an accident involving six vehicles occurred on Interstate 35 for unknown reasons. Sources say the crash happened shortly before 12:30 in the afternoon near Owatonna. According to reports, a vehicle and a semi-truck were heading north along Interstate 35 when they collided. The accident caused a domino effect of other crashes involving four more cars.
