Jose Valera Diaz Killed, Bradley Jones Injured in Truck Accident near Tyndall, SD

Tyndall, SD — August 11, 2023, Jose Valera Diaz was killed, and Bradley Jones was injured in a collision at Highway 46 and Highway 37 near Tyndall, SD.

Authorities say that on August 11, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a Nissan and a semi-truck collided near Tyndall. Investigators say the Nissan allegedly ran through a stop sign at Highway 46 and Highway 37 intersection and crashed into an oncoming semi-truck. The crash reportedly happened at approximately 1:30 in the afternoon.

Officials confirmed the Nissan driver, Jose Valera Diaz, 43, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The semi-truck driver, 63-year-old Bradley Jones, reportedly suffered minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
