Nelson Gonzalez Killed in Truck Accident on New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County, NJ

Burlington County, NJ — August 16, 2023, Nelson Gonzalez was killed in a dump truck accident on the New Jersey Turnpike near Exit 7 in Burlington County, NJ.

Authorities indicate that on August 16, a fatal accident occurred when a dump truck driver traveling southbound suddenly left the roadway and crashed into a barrier on the New Jersey Turnpike. According to reports, the truck driver had allegedly lost control of the vehicle after a tire blowout. The accident happened shortly before 11:00 in the morning in Burlington County.

Officials confirmed the truck driver, 45-year-old Nelson Gonzalez, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.
