Irving Medellin, 1 Injured in City Truck Accident in Edinburg, TX

Hidalgo County, TX — July 10, 2023, Irving Medellin and another person were injured due to a city truck accident at around 4:23 p.m. along Rogers Road.

Information released by authorities indicates that the crash took place at the intersection of East Rogers Road and North Terry Road.

According to officials, 21-year-old Irving Medellin was in a GMC Sierra going northbound along Terry. At the Rogers Road intersection, the pickup crashed with a City of Edinburg semi-truck that was going eastbound along Rogers.

Due to the collision, Medellin sustained injuries believed to be serious. The truck driver, identified only as a 42-year-old man, also reportedly had incapacitating injuries. There were no other reported victims involved in the crash. Right now, additional details about the crash can't be confirmed pending investigations.
