Teenager Injured in Car Accident on Highway 22 in Corsicana, TX

Navarro County, TX — July 17, 2023, a teenager was injured as the result of a car accident at around 8:55 p.m. along State Highway 22.

According to preliminary details about the accident, the crash took place along the highway near the intersection of Dobbins Road.

Officials said in their statements that Tyler McClendon Pulaski and an unidentified 19-year-old woman were in a Toyota Camry that was going eastbound on Highway 22. They stopped at a red light at the Dobbins Road intersection. While waiting, it appears that a Dodge Ram didn't slow down in time, crashing into McClendon Pulaski and the other vehicles at the light.

As a result of the crash, the 19-year-old woman in the Toyota had incapacitating injuries. It appears McClendon Pulaski did not have injuries, nor did occupants in other vehicles. At this time, details suggest the driver of the Dodge was under the influence of alcohol. There may be charges pending at this time, according to authorities. No further information can be confirmed right now.
