Carlos Riojas Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Val Verde County, TX

Val Verde County, TX — July 21, 2023, Carlos Riojas sustained injuries following a single-vehicle car accident that occurred at 2:42 a.m. on Industrial Boulevard.

Preliminary details about the crash released by authorities indicate that the incident took place near the intersection of Industrial Boulevard and Finegan Road.

According to officials, 23-year-old Carlos Riojas and a 26-year-old woman were in a Chevy Silverado that was going along Industrial Boulevard. For reasons which remain unconfirmed, the vehicle lost control and ran off the side of the road. There, the vehicle overturned.

As a result of the crash, Riojas sustained incapacitating injuries. While the woman's injuries weren't confirmed, details from authorities indicate she was taken to a hospital. Right now, additional details about the single-vehicle wreck are unavailable.
