At Least One Injured in Truck Accident on North Loop 610 in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — July 12, 2023, at least one person was injured due to a semi-truck accident at around 10:11 a.m. along Loop 610.

Authorities said that the incident took place along the Loop 610 service road near the intersection of Lockwood Drive.

According to preliminary investigations, a 47-year-old man was in a Chevy Silverado that was going eastbound along the loop. For reasons which are not clear at this time, an 18-wheeler apparently failed to control speed and crashed into the Silverado and a Ford F-250.

As a result of the crash, the Houston man had incapacitating injuries. Two others in the vehicle may have been hurt, but this was not confirmed. There were no other reported injuries. Right now, additional details about what led up to the crash are unavailable.
