Bernard Christian Uhler II Killed, 2 Injured in Car Accident near Copperas Cove, TX

Copperas Cove, TX — August 12, 2023, Bernard Christian Uhler II was killed and two people were injured after a car accident at around noon along F.M. 116.

Preliminary details about the fatal crash say that it took place at approximately 12:26 p.m. south of town.

According to officials, 48-year-old Bernard Christian Uhler II was in a BMW car that was said to be going southbound along F.M. 116. A Toyota pickup was reportedly going northbound. Due to factors which are not clear at this time, the vehicles ended up colliding head-on.

As a result of the crash, Uhler sustained fatal injuries. Two people in the Toyota were taken from the scene with reportedly minor injuries. Those two victims were identified only as a 46-year-old and a 42-year-old. Right now, no further information about the accident is available.
