Jordan Ashlei Herman Killed, 2 Injured in Car Accident on F.M. 1626 in Buda, TX

UPDATE (August 24, 2023): Recent information released to the public identifies the woman killed in the accident as 33-year-old Jordan Ashlei Herman. Right now, no further information can be confirmed.

Buda, TX — August 16, 2023, a woman sustained fatal injuries and two people were hurt after a car accident at around 7:13 p.m. on F.M. 1626.

Investigators with the Buda Police Department say that the crash took place in the area of the Farm-to-Market 1626 and Old Black Colony Road intersection.

According to officials, the incident involved an Infiniti G35 and a Nissan Altima. For reasons which are not clear at this time, the vehicles crossed paths and collided at the intersection. Due to this collision, three people were sent to the hospital.

One of the victims, identified only as a 33-year-old woman, later succumbed to her injuries. A child involved had unspecified injuries and was taken to a hospital in Austin, and an adult man was taken to a hospital in Kyle. Right now, additional details are unavailable.
