Four Injured in Car Accident on R.M. 620 in Travis County, TX

Travis County, TX — August 5, 2023, four people were injured as the result of a car accident that occurred late Saturday along R.M. 620.

Officials with the Austin-Travis County EMS department released information about the crash which happened sometime before 6:00 p.m. in the area of the R.M. 620 and Mansfield Dam Road intersection, west of Austin.

Right now, the exact circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear. Officials said that two vehicles collided with one another. As a result, four people were taken to area hospitals. Details at this time say one of the victims was a child who was taken from the scene via air ambulance. Three adults were transported from the scene, as well.

No further information about the cause of the accident can be confirmed at this time pending investigations.
