Two Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Kansas Turnpike in Butler County, KS

Butler County, KS — August 17, two people were injured in a semi-truck collision on the Kansas Turnpike near Santa Fe Lake Road in Butler County, KS.

Authorities say that on August 17, an accident occurred between two semi-trucks in Butler County. According to reports, a semi was traveling along the Kansas Turnpike when it suddenly overturned, causing another semi-truck to crash into the rear trailer. The crash happened just before 5:30 in the morning.

Officials confirmed the two semi-truck drivers, whose names have not been released, suffered minor injuries in the collision. One driver was taken to an area hospital.

No other injuries were reported.
