David Wells Killed in Semi-Truck Accident in Roanoke County, VA

Roanoke County, VA — August 17, 2023, David Wells was killed in a semi-truck collision at West Main Street and Dow Hollow Road in Roanoke County, VA.

Authorities indicate that on August 17, a fatal collision occurred between a motorcycle and a semi-truck in Roanoke County. According to reports, the motorcycle was traveling on West Main Street when the accident happened. Sources say the two vehicles crashed as the semi turned onto West Main from Dow Hollow Road.

Officials confirmed the motorcyclist, 61-year-old David Wells, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. No other injuries were reported.

The crash is currently under investigation.
