One Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 5 in Portland, OR

Portland, OR — August 12, 2023, a person was injured in a semi-truck collision on Interstate 5 at Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard in Portland, OR.

Authorities indicate that on August 12, a collision occurred between a pickup truck and a semi-truck on Interstate 5 in Portland. According to reports, the crash caused the pickup to lodge under the semi, trapping the pickup driver inside the vehicle. Sources say the driver was pulled out of the truck by responding authorities. The accident happened sometime before 6:00 in the evening.

Officials confirmed that one person suffered injuries in the collision. The extent of the person's injuries is unknown at this time. No further information has been released.
