Two Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Sam Houston Drive in Victoria, TX

Victoria, TX — August 16, 2023, two people sustained injuries due to a motorcycle accident at around 9:00 p.m. along Sam Houston Drive.

Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the crash happened at the intersection of Sam Houston Drive and Houston Highway (US-59T Business).

According to officials, a motorcyclist was driving along northbound Sam Houston Drive. While doing so, it appears that a pickup turning left toward PK Liquors entered the path of the motorcycle, resulting in the two vehicles colliding.

As a result of the accident, both the motorcyclist and the driver of the pickup had injuries. The severity of both victims' injuries was said to be non-life-threatening. At this time, additional details about the accident remain under investigation.
