Semi-Truck Driver Injured in Accident on Highway 52 near Kenmare, ND

Kenmare, ND — August 16, 2023, a semi-truck driver was severely injured in a collision on Highway 52 north of Kenmare, ND.

Authorities say that on August 16, a crash occurred when, for unknown reasons, two semi-trucks collided on Highway 52 near Kenmare. According to reports, the accident happened shortly after 11:00 in the morning.

Sources say the accident occurred as one semi-truck traveled north along Highway 52. The semi allegedly rear-ended another semi that was stopped in a work zone. Officials say the driver suffered injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The driver's condition is unknown at this time. The driver of the struck semi reportedly escaped the crash with no injuries.

No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
