Three Killed in Truck Accident on Highway 198 in Visalia, CA

Visalia, CA — August 14, 2023, three people were killed in a pickup truck accident on westbound Highway 198 near Plaza Drive in Visalia, CA.

Authorities say that on August 14, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a Ford pickup crashed on Highway 98 in Visalia. According to reports, the Ford pickup was traveling west along Highway 198 when the driver suddenly lost control of the truck after veering off into the median. Sources say the pickup attempted to return to the road and flipped over numerous times. The crash happened sometime before 4:00 a.m.

Officials confirmed the Ford driver and two passengers suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The names of the vehicle occupants have not been released at this time. No other vehicles were said to be involved in the crash.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the events that led to the collision.
