Pedestrian Killed in Truck Accident on Interstate 275 in Tampa, FL

Tampa, FL — August 16, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a truck accident on Interstate 275 at Busch Boulevard in Tampa, FL.

Authorities indicate that on August 16, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a man was struck by a box truck on Interstate 275 in Tampa. According to reports, the accident happened around 4:00 in the afternoon.

Investigators say the pedestrian was attempting to cross the interstate when he was hit by the truck. Officials confirmed the pedestrian, a 40-year-old male whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
