Pedestrian Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Route 74 in Winchester, CA

Winchester, CA — August 16, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a semi-truck accident on Route 74 near Amada Avenue in Winchester, CA.

Authorities indicate that on August 16, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck on State Route 74. Sources say the collision happened shortly before 2:30 in the morning.

According to reports, the pedestrian was walking along Route 74 when an eastbound semi-truck hit him. As investigators determine what led to the accident, few details have been released.

Officials confirmed that the pedestrian, a 59-year-old male whose name has not been released, suffered severe injuries and was transported to an area hospital for immediate medical attention. The man reportedly died due to his injuries while at the hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
