Two Killed in Motorcycle/School Bus Accident on Route 7 in Pierce County, WA

Pierce County, WA — August 12, 2023, a motorcycle rider and a passenger were killed in a school bus collision on Route 7 near Alder Lake in Pierce County, WA.

Authorities indicate that on August 12, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a school bus on Route 7 in Pierce County. The accident reportedly happened shortly after 10:00 in the morning.

Few details about the crash have been released at this time. Officials confirmed that the motorcyclist and a passenger, whose names have not been released, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. It is unknown if there were passengers on board the school bus.

No other injuries were reported. The crash is still under investigation.
