One Injured in Cement Truck Accident on Route 56 in Somerset County, PA

Somerset County, PA — August 14, 2023, a person was injured in a cement truck crash on Route 56 near exit 601 in Somerset County, PA.

Authorities say that on August 14, a collision occurred when, for unknown reasons, a cement truck driver traveling along Route 56 suddenly lost control while attempting to go downhill. According to reports, the truck skidded and overturned, injuring the driver.

Officials confirmed that the cement truck driver, whose name has not been released, suffered injuries in the crash, but the extent of the injuries is unknown.

No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
