Emmitt Waite Injured in Truck Accident on Grangemont Road in Orofino, ID

Orofino, ID — August 15, 2023, Emmitt Waite was injured in a truck crash at Grangemont Road and Agape Lane in Orofino, ID.

Authorities indicate that on August 15, a crash occurred when a truck struck a pole and overturned at Grangemont Road and Agape Lane in Orofino. According to reports, the collision caused the truck to burst into flames, trapping the driver in the vehicle.

Officials say responding authorities pulled the driver, 56-year-old Emmitt Waite, from the truck and took him to an area hospital for medical attention. Waite reportedly suffered injuries in the crash, but they were not life-threatening.

No other injuries were reported. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
