Adam Chapa Sr., 1 Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in La Marque, TX

Galveston County, TX — July 20, 2023, Adam Chapa Sr. and another person were injured following a single-vehicle accident at around 11:46 a.m. along Delmar Drive.

Preliminary information about the accident says that it took place in the area of the Delmar Drive and Laurel Street intersection.

According to officials, 53-year-old Adam Chapa Sr. and a 65-year-old man were in a Jeep Liberty which was said to be traveling westbound along Delmar. While doing so, for reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time, the vehicle careened off the left side of the road just off the Laurel Street intersection. There, the Jeep crashed into a tree.

As a result of the collision, Chapa sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. The unidentified passenger in the Jeep had injuries described as non-incapacitating. No other injuries were reported. Currently, additional details are pending investigations.
