Pedestrian Injured in Car Accident on U.S. 67 in San Angelo, TX

San Angelo, TX — August 14, 2023, one person was injured due to a pedestrian accident that happened early Monday along U.S. Highway 67.

Preliminary details about the accident say that it happened in the area of U.S. 67 and Douglas Loop at around 6:00 a.m.

It appears from initial statements that a pedestrian was walking on the highway at the time. It's unclear if the pedestrian was going along the roadway or attempting to cross. While walking on southbound lanes, authorities say that a Toyota 4Runner struck the pedestrian in the roadway.
