One Killed in Motorcycle, Truck Accident on I-10 at Schuster in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX — August 15, 2023, one person was killed as the result of a motorcycle versus truck accident Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 10.

Investigators said in preliminary statements that the crash happened along westbound lanes of the interstate near the exit for Porfirio Diaz at Schuster.

Right now, the exact cause of the crash remains unclear. Authorities have only said that a motorcycle and a semi-truck were going along the interstate when they somehow crossed paths and collided. As a result of this collision, the motorcyclist sustained ultimately fatal injuries.

Authorities have not identified the victim at this time. There were no other confirmed injuries. Investigators continue to look into the factors leading up to the crash. No charges or citations have been reported.
