Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Truck Accident in Longview, TX

Longview, TX — August 14, 2023, there were injuries reported following a multi-vehicle truck accident along the highway early Monday.

There are few details available about the crash right now as authorities continue their investigations. It appears the incident happened at around 8:40 a.m. and was worked by the West Harrison Volunteer Fire Department.

Officials said only that it involved multiple vehicles, including a car, a pickup truck, and an 18-wheeler. The cause of the crash was not publicly stated, and locals news reports also do not give a specific location for the accident.

As a result of the collision, occupants of at least two of the vehicles involved went to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Reports did not say who was hurt, how many were hurt, nor how severely the victims were injured. There are no reported charges or citations at this time, and the cause of the crash remains unconfirmed pending investigations.
