Bobby Edwards Killed in Truck Accident in Mitchell County, TX

Mitchell County, TX — August 14, 2023, Bobby Edwards was fatally injured due to a semi-truck accident early Monday along Interstate 20.

Preliminary details about the crash say that it happened at approximately 7:00 a.m. just outside of Loraine. It appears that 57-year-old Bobby Edwards was in a semi-truck that was going along the interstate. While rounding a curve, the semi-truck somehow lost control, causing it to run off the side of the road.

Following the truck leaving the roadway, the truck overturned and hit the cable barrier and a pole along the median. As a result of the crash, Edwards succumbed to fatal injuries. There were no other individuals said to have been involved in the crash. Additional details about the cause of the accident are unavailable pending further investigations.
