Several Injured in Two Accidents on Interstate 80 in Omaha, NE

Omaha, NE — August 14, 2023, several people were injured in two collisions in Omaha, NE. One crash involved six vehicles on westbound Interstate 80 between 50th and 60th Streets. The other crash happened near 42nd Street.

Authorities indicate that on August 14, a collision occurred when, for unknown reasons, several vehicles collided on Interstate 80 in Omaha. According to reports, the crash involved at least two trucks along westbound I-80 at 7:30 in the morning. A second crash occurred shortly after near 42nd Street in Omaha. The crashes appear to be two separate incidents.

The cause of the accidents is unknown at this time. Officials confirmed that several people were injured, but no additional information about the extent of the injuries has been released.
