Phillip Interrante Killed in Truck Accident in Denton, TX

Denton, TX — July 26, 2023, Phillip Interrante was killed following a semi-truck accident at around 2:17 a.m. along Interstate 35E.

Authorities released preliminary details about the fatal incident, which they say they happened along the northbound lanes of I-35E near mile marker 467.

According to current statements, 75-year-old Phillip Interrante was in a Mercedes-Benz that was going along northbound lanes. Authorities allege the Mercedes-Benz was going against traffic, though this cannot be confirmed at this time. Somehow, Interrante's vehicle crossed paths with a semi-trailer, resulting in the two vehicles colliding.

Due to the collision, Interrante sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. Authorities did not report any other injuries resulting from the crash. Right now, investigations are pending.
