Teresa Rae Redden, Child Killed, Ismael Delgado Injured in Car Accident in Victoria County, TX

Victoria County, TX — August 12, 2023, Teresa Rae Redden and a child were killed and Ismael Delgado was injured in a car accident at 7:43 p.m. on F.M. 1685.

Authorities said in their initial statements that the incident took place at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 1685 and Farm-to-Market 236.

According to officials, 62-year-old Teresa Rae Redden and a 9-year-old girl were in a Toyota Rav4 that was going westbound along F.M. 1685 at the time. At the F.M. 236 intersection, the Toyota and a GMC going northbound crossed paths, causing the vehicles to collide with each other.

As a result of the collision, Redden and the 9-year-old girl in the Toyota sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the GMC, identified as 29-year-old Ismael Delgado, sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. Currently, there are no additional details available.
