According to investigations, 43-year-old Kasey Thompson, two children, and a fourth occupant were in a Chevy Suburban that was going southbound on U.S. 425. At Buckles, troopers say that Thompson slowed to make a turn onto Buckles. While doing so, however, it appears a semi-truck crashed into the back of the Suburban, causing the Chevy to catch fire.
