Raul Fanelle, Francisco Hernandez Gomez, 2 Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Laredo, TX

UPDATE (September 19, 2023): Further information released by authorities identified the victims in the accident. Two of the victims were 18-year-old Raul Fanelle and 18-year-old Francisco Hernandez Gomez. The other two names will not be included due to the victims being minors. Additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed at this time.

Laredo, TX — August 13, 2023, four people were killed as the result of a single-vehicle accident early Sunday along Cuatro Vientos Boulevard.

Investigators with the Laredo Police Department said that the incident took place at approximately 1:25 a.m. along Cuatro Vientos Boulevard in the area of Highway 359.

According to current information available about the crash, it happened as a vehicle was going along Cuatro Vientos. For reasons which are not clear at this time, the vehicle lost control and ran off Cuatro Vientos. As a result, the vehicle crashed and caught fire.

As a result of the crash, officials say that four people sustained fatal injuries. The identities of the victims have yet to be released. Right now, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
