Ruby Elena Aranda Killed in Car Accident in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX — August 8, 2023, Ruby Elena Aranda was killed due to a single-vehicle car accident on North Piedras at around 11:26 p.m.

Officials with the El Paso Police Department released information about the accident saying that happened in the area of the North Piedras Street and Durazno Avenue intersection.

According to investigators, 21-year-old Ruby Elena Aranda was in a Chevy Silverado that was going along Piedras. For reasons which are unclear at this time, the vehicle ran off the side of Piedras and crashed off an overpass into a dirt lot.

As a result of the crash, Aranda sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. There did not appear to be any other victims involved in the crash. Right now, circumstances leading up to the accident remain unconfirmed as investigations continue.
