Miriam Acosta Ramos, Maria Acosta, 1 Injured in Car Accident on Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas, TX
UPDATE (September 7, 2023): Recent public information from authorities identified two of the three victims injured in the crash. They were 34-year-old Miriam Acosta Ramos and 59-year-old Maria Acosta. Ramos and Acosta were said to be occupants of the Ford Explorer reportedly stopped at the red light when a Jeep Patriot hit the Ford. That driver, an unidentified 29-year-old man, also had incapacitating injuries. Right now, no further information can be confirmed.
Dallas, TX — August 11, 2023, three people were injured following a two-car accident at around 3:44 a.m. along Harry Hines Boulevard.
Officials said that the incident took place in the area of Harry Hines where Regal Row and Burbank Street intersect.

According to current information provided by authorities, the incident involved a vehicle which was stopped at a red light on Harry Hines. While waiting, another vehicle which was said to be going at a high rate of speed slammed into the stopped vehicle.
From the stopped vehicle, it appears two adults were taken to a local hospital in reportedly critical conditions. The driver of the vehicle that hit them also reportedly had critical injuries and was taken to a hospital. At this time, authorities have not released any additional details about factors surrounding the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
