Bicyclist Injured in Tractor-Trailer Accident on Saginaw Boulevard in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX — August 11, 2023, a bicycle rider sustained injuries due to a tractor-trailer accident early Friday on Saginaw Boulevard.

Investigators said that the incident happened in the area of the Saginaw Boulevard and Avondale-Haslet Road intersection.

According to officials, a person was riding a bicycle when they somehow crossed paths with a tractor-trailer. As a result, the tractor-trailer hit the cyclist. This resulted in the victim sustaining injuries which were described as critical. It appears the victim was taken to the downtown Harris Hospital.

The victim at this time has only been identified as a man. There are no further details about the collision available pending continuing investigations.
