Oscar Aguilar-Regalado, Denia Landaverde, Child Killed, Arthur Alonso, Natalie Alonso, 4 Injured in Car Accident in Bastrop County, TX

Bastrop County, TX — July 15, 2023, Oscar Aguilar-Regalado, Denia Landaverde, and a child were killed, Arthur Alonso, Natalie Alonso, others were hurt in car accident on Highway 71.

Preliminary details about the fatal accident show that the crash took place just after 9:00 p.m. near mile marker 608 of Highway 71.

According to current information, 34-year-old Oscar Aguilar-Regalado, 31-year-old Denia Landaverde, and a 3-year-old child were in a Chevy Silverado that was going eastbound along the highway. 40-year-old Arthur Alonso, 37-year-old Natalie Alonso, and two children were in a Honda Pilot also going eastbound.

Authorities report that a Toyota Tundra was going westbound in the eastbound lanes when it crossed paths and collided with the Silverado. The Honda then crashed into the Silverado. As a result of this collision, Aguilar-Regalado, Landaverde, and their 3-year-old passenger all sustained fatal injuries. Arthur and Natalie Alonso, the two children in the Honda, and two people that were in the Toyota all had apparently incapacitating injuries.

Right now, authorities have not reported any confirmed charges, and the factors leading up to the deadly wreck remain unclear pending investigations.
