Emilio Adalpe Killed in Tractor Accident in Atascosa County, TX

Atascosa County, TX — July 5, 2023, Emilio Adalpe sustained fatal injuries due to a tractor accident that happened at around 8:30 p.m. along F.M. 3175.

Investigations at this time show that the fatal crash happened in the area of the intersection of F.M. 3175 and Short Meadow Drive.

According to officials, 54-year-old Emilio Adalpe was on a John Deere tractor going southbound along F.M. 3175. Details suggest Adalpe was moving slowly at the time when he began to make a left turn. While doing so, a Dodge Ram behind the tractor tried to pass the tractor, causing the two vehicles to collide.

As a result of the collision, Adalpe sustained serious injuries. It appears Adalpe succumbed to those injuries on July 18. It's unclear if the pickup driver was hurt. Right now, additional details about the crash remain unclear.
