Jesus Trejo Injured in Truck Accident in Kyle, TX

Kyle, TX — July 16, 2023, Jesus Trejo sustained injuries as the result of a semi-truck accident at around midnight along I-35.

Preliminary information about the accident was released saying that the crash happened at approximately 12:03 a.m. along the interstate frontage road off Kohlers Crossing.

Investigators said that 24-year-old Jesus Trejo was the driver of a Hyundai Accent that was going southbound along the I-35 frontage road. Trejo may have fallen asleep, according to statements, causing the vehicle to lose control. Doing so, it crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler which was also traveling southbound on the service road.

As a result of the crash, Trejo sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There were no other confirmed injuries resulting from the crash. At this time, additional details cannot be confirmed.
