Jaime Quijas Jr., 2 Possibly Injured in Car Accident in Fort Hancock, TX

Hudspeth County, TX — June 28, 2023, Jaime Quijas Jr. and two others may have been injured due to a car accident at around 1:35 p.m. along 5th Street.

According to investigations from authorities, the crash took place near the intersection of 5th Street and Blackfoot Road.

Details from officials possibly identified 27-year-old Jaime Quijas Jr. as the driver of a Chevy Silverado that was said to be going westbound on 5th Street. For reasons which can't be confirmed at this time, the vehicle lost control and ran off the left side of the road. There, the pickup hit a dumpster before overturning.

If details are accurate, Quijas and a 23-year-old man in the pickup had injuries said to be incapacitating. Another passenger in the pickup was left in unspecified condition. Right now, no further information about the crash can be confirmed.
